On Sunday, the 8th of March 2009, on a ski slope in the Alps, Domi asked me to marry him. And I said yes.
He asked me if I'm happy with him and I said yes. Then he said, no, really. Are you happy with me? Do you want to be happy with me forever?
He asked me if I would and I asked him if he was serious. He said yes. He said, "Anna, will you marry me?"
And I said, "Of course!"
I'm very happy. Sooo happy.
The ring is silver and the engraving says "Domi e Anna." Domi wanted an & symbol, but they were made in Italy and they didn't have an & symbol, so he opted for the Italian word e which, obviously, means and. Domi and Anna. The way I've always wanted it to be.

Anna! Congratulations on your engagement! It's Emily...Tif's friend (as you put it)! I got your comment on our travel blog. So happy that you took a look and that I now found your blog! We are DEFINITELY coming to Italy, as I have never been and Kevin always tells me how amazing it is. We are planning to be there sometime in October. Where exactly are you in Italy? I would love to see you and I'm sure it would be such a treat for us to get some inside info about Italy from you. So, are you planning to get married in Italy?? ReplyDeleteWe live in the northern part of Italy in-between Milan and Turin, right near the Alps. It's pretty here and we know some cool people, so you should definitely pass through and stay with us.
I'm planning on getting married back home, around the same time as Tiffany - it'll be a busy year for both of us!
