NYC

We were lucky enough to be able to celebrate our friends' wedding in NYC last weekend.

It was a pretty small, casual affair, but one of the happiest and sweetest weddings I've been to in recent memory.

Lindsey and Oren came to our wedding in 2010, so it was nice to be able to be there for them this time. :)

There were lovely speeches accompanied by many tears (mine and Domi's included), and LOTS of dancing.

(Lindsey is quite the dancer and has been since she was little)

It was a great party. I got lots of compliments :D

Impromptu

I was super busy this weekend. (I've been super busy a lot, recently, which isn't usually the case for me.)

But... even with my chaotic schedule, I still managed to spontaneously meet up with my friend Lindsey who just happened to be in town. I got home Sunday morning, checked my messages, called her, and within an hour of returning home, I was on my way out again, catching the train to Palo Alto.

It was awesome to make spur of the moment plans and be available for somebody I care about. :)

I miss spontaneity. If anyone ever wants to be spontaneous with me, just text me. ;) (especially since I don't check my email that frequently)

Mini vacation

Our family friend lent us her house in wine country while on vacation.

A nice way to spend a lazy Saturday/Sunday...
